All chiropractors at Mason Family Chiropractic are:

• Registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the statutory regulator for the profession in the UK
• Members of the Royal College of Chiropractors (LRCC/FRCC)
• Bound by the GCC's Code of Practice and Standard of Proficiency
• Covered by professional indemnity insurance

It is a criminal offence for anyone to call themselves a chiropractor or to imply that they are a chiropractor unless they are registered with the GCC.

4. Appointments and Bookings

4.1 Booking

Appointments can be booked online through our booking system or by telephone. When booking, you agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your health condition.

4.2 Confirmation

All appointments are confirmed by email and/or SMS. Please check your details and contact us immediately if there are any errors.

4.3 Cancellation

Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for information about cancelling or rescheduling appointments.

5. Consent to Treatment

Before any treatment begins, we will:

• Conduct a thorough consultation and examination
• Explain our findings and diagnosis
• Discuss the proposed treatment plan, including alternatives

6. Fees and Payment

6.1 Current Fees

Our current fees are displayed on our Prices page. We reserve the right to change our fees, but any changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect appointments already booked.

6.2 Payment

Payment is due at the time of your appointment. We accept:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• Contactless payments

6.3 Insurance

We are registered with most major health insurance providers. If you wish to claim through your insurance, please check with your provider before your appointment and bring your membership details.

7. Health Records

We maintain detailed clinical records in accordance with professional and legal requirements. Your records are:

• Kept securely and confidentially
• Retained for a minimum of 8 years (21 years for children)
• Subject to your rights under data protection law

9. Complaints

We are committed to providing excellent care. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service:

1. Please speak to us directly in the first instance €“ many issues can be resolved informally

3. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and provide a full response within 20 working days
4. If you remain dissatisfied, you may refer your complaint to the GCC
